Buying a smartphone with 16GB or 32GB internal storage and then adding a microSD card slot for extra storage space is not the same as getting a phone with more internal storage space of 64GB or 128GB. Data stored on microSD cards, depending on their speed, might take a little more time to process files in comparison to phone’s internal storage. If you are a power user who uses smartphones for recording 4k videos, editing video files, running 2k videos and playing HD games, you will need a device with ample internal storage.

Going for phones with good hardware but lower storage requires user to free up storage frequently. A phone with internal storage of 128GB or higher means you don’t have to worry about these things less frequently.
