How often do you click that perfect photograph where one unwanted element spoils the entire composition? It could be an object in the background or a photo-bomber. TouchRetouch is an award-winning photo-editing app that lets you remove any such unwanted content or element from your photographs.
The first of these impressive, easy-to-use features is the “object removal” tool that eliminates any visual distractions, leaving the focus on the main subject in a photograph. You can use the “brush” or “lasso” options to select the object, and then tap the “go” button. The next tool you can try is the “single-touch line-removal”, which can be used to erase surface breaks and scratches, electric wires and power lines, skin wrinkles and fine lines by just tracing them in the picture.
The app uses an innovative line-removal algorithm. So you don’t need to mark a whole line. If you tap, say, one part of an electric wire that is spoiling your picture, the app uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) to mark the rest of it.
There’s a “quick repair” feature that can fix blemishes such as dust spots or food stains. All this can be done with single taps. If a background in your photograph is complex or distorted, you can choose the “Clone Stamp” tool to manually remove any unwanted items by replacing them with pixels copied from another location in the same image.
Designed by German software company ADVA Soft, TouchRetouch is listed as an editors’ choice app on the Google Play Store, which means it comes highly recommended in the photo-editing apps category. It is also rated well on the App Store. Do remember that TouchRetouch is not free: It will cost you ₹130 on Android and ₹159 on iOS, devices.
