Don’t have a physical canvas? With ArtFlow, a digital sketchbook app, you can convert your Android phone or tablet into a digital canvas. This Editor’s Choice app lets you use more than 80 paint brush, smudge and eraser tools. With these, you can design canvasses of up to 6144 x 6144 pixels.

The app lets you use some premium features through in-app purchases, but one of the most impressive things about ArtFlow is its support for pressure-sensitive pens and stylus devices. With a stylus like the Samsung S Pen, you can transform your phone’s screen or tablet into a canvas. The variety of brushes on offer and stylus support make ArtFlow an impressive app.

Expect no lags or slow processing when you paint on this app. The layout is also clean, with a one-touch option where you can convert the canvas into a full screen. There are also at least 10 layer filters to choose from -- everything from hue and saturation value control, brightness and a color palette with a wide range. There are also a bunch of tools that let you play around with different shapes and symmetry in your artwork.

Once you finish an artwork, you can simply choose to save it in your device’s gallery. The app also lets you export an artwork in three formats: PNG, JPEG and PSD.
