Microsoft has announced a new range of compact notebooks running on a stripped down version of Windows 10, which is called the Windows 10 S. Inspired by Google Chromebooks, these new notebooks are targeted at students and professionals with basic requirements such as web browsing, reading, checking and replying to emails. The first batch of Windows 10 S laptops will start selling in US from July at a starting price of $189.
