Unlike apps such as Prisma, which uses AI to apply arty looking filters, FaceApp uses AI to change the facial expressions and features. So you can make a grim face smile, a young person look older and a man look like a woman. Developed by Russian start-up Wireless Lab, the app requires active internet connection and can take longer if you are on a slow network.
