Bengaluru-based Geist Brewing Company, which started a popular restaurant on its factory premises earlier this year, has opened an outpost at Orion Mall, Rajajinagar. The Geist Brewing Taproom, set up in a bright, well-ventilated space, will serve five varieties of Geist’s in-house craft beers, cocktails and a variety of large and small plates featuring both Indian and European favourites. SASSY DOES IT
The Sassy Spoon, the Mumbai café run by pastry chef Rachel Goenka, has reopened in a reimagined pop avatar with a new menu. In keeping with a general preference for outdoor seating, the exterior has been transformed into a colourful, Insta-ready area. New dishes include Miso Broth with Shiitake,Tofu, Wakame and Edamame, and an array of flatbreads, like Mexican Flatbread, Three Cheese Flatbread and Crispy Chicken Flatbread.

VADEHRA GOES VIRTUAL
Vadehra Art Gallery has introduced a dedicated online exhibition viewing experience in a new series titled VIRTUAL, where the gallery will present short projects by artists from its regular programming using a host of immersive technologies. Its first VIRTUAL exhibition is a striking new collection of watercolours by artist Sujith S.N. titled Act II: Emphasizing Stillness.

Luxury homeware and decor brand Beyond Designs has launched its second store, Beyond Designs Home, at Delhi’s Santushti complex. Bertolt Brecht’s radical text, Fear And Misery Of The Third Reich, is a disquieting vision of how authoritarianism percolates into people’s lives. Rat, a digital theatre performance by the Delhi-based group Third Space Collective, reimagines parts of this work and explores the dynamics of information and information-sharing, and the machinery of surveillance—its designers, channels and subjects.
