Ironic as it may sound, the covid-19 pandemic has ensured you can savour priceless art on the intimate frames of your electronic devices as institutions around the world take their collections online. The Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), scheduled to launch in Bengaluru in 2021, is opening its doors too, albeit digitally. A week-long programme (5-11 December), Art (Is) Life, organised by MAP, will feature experts from diverse fields introducing some of the pieces from its growing collection of 18,000-odd artworks. Featuring B.N. Goswamy, William Dalrymple, Devdutt Pattanaik and Raghu Rai, among other luminaries, the programme will also see dancers, singers, musicians and poets from across India taking part.
