With guided walkthroughs, workshops, discussions, lectures, talks and masterclasses, Mumbai-based art collective ArtX’s virtual programme, Ghar Se Museum, is back this Saturday. Featuring institutions like the Piramal Museum of Art, Mumbai, Ashvita’s Museum, Chennai, Indian Music Experience, Bengaluru, Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, Pune, and the Partition Museum, Amritsar, the second edition of the online event is a well-curated mix of virtual visits and lecture-demonstrations.

These include a session on art appreciation for beginners, conducted by the Piramal Museum; an introduction to oral history by storyteller Shreya Sharma; a musical performance by Shri Patti Khan on the sarangi, accompanied by Pandit Ram Krishna Bose on the tabla, and curated by Eternal Mewar, a cultural platform run by the erstwhile royal family of Mewar in Udaipur; a virtual viewing room at Delhi’s Drishyakala Art Museum; and a walkthrough of the Partition Museum to experience unique stories of love, loss, resilience and hope.
