During the global covid-19 lockdowns in the first half of 2020, gyms and fitness studios were forced to remain shut. But that doesn't seem to have stopped people from meeting their daily fitness goals. As a report released by the the World Economic Forum in September reveals, downloads of health and fitness apps in the first half of the year grew by 46% worldwide. In fact, India saw the highest increase in downloads, a rise of 156%. That’s almost 58 million new, active users. The report was based on data from mobile-first customer engagement platform MoEngage.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if such trends continued going forward. In a market that is filled with plenty of fitness apps for every kind of user, here are five great options that you can try out.
