The collection was unveiled via a 20-minute film that brought viewers to London's The Savoy, where founder Guccio Gucci once worked as a bellboy. Models walked the runway show in clothes that embraced the brand's equestrian heritage and borrowed references from the Tom Ford-era. (Courtesy Gucci)
Reflecting on the century marker, Michele said Gucci's magic is its ability to redefine itself over time, unbeholden to any strictly defined image, reports AP. “I am trying to renew for the millionth time this brand, this name, this myth, this saga, because Gucci is a complex container that holds many, many things,” Michele said.
